Betty Crocker's BettyLab
Betty Crocker saw that women only represented a third of STEM-related jobs, and many girls stop believing they can be anything they want after the age of 5. That didn't sit right with us. So, we set out to change the narrative and created the BettyLab, a place that turns a consumers' kitchen into an at-home laboratory.
We've created lessons based on the principles of STEM, so parents can teach their kids properties such as the chemistry behind crystallization, how technology and engineering are essential to baking cakes, and the math principles that go into reducing recipes.
The BettyLab was set up to help girls and kids discover an interest in STEM at a young age with fun and educational lessons. Best part? These STEM-packed lessons also taste good. From website to social to partnerships, we made sure every box was checked.
